A beautiful handmade solid wood step with heart motif (item shown made from oak). An ideal piece for any bedroom, nursery or kitchen.
This is a design I originally came up with after my wife requested a small step to reach the top shelf of the wardrobe. The one proviso, it must have a heart in the design. A request I couldn’t refuse!
This step can be made from a choice of hardwoods and is constructed using wedged mortice and tenon and dovetail joinery. Both techniques chosen for the strength they give the step, a must for a piece of this nature, I’m sure you’ll agree.
